Workforce: Supporting Our Community, Together
At Workforce, community is at the heart of everything we do. Over the past few months, our teams, students, and partners have been proud to support a range of local initiatives—working together to create meaningful, lasting impact across the communities we serve.
Growing Together at Clonard House
Our Community Lead, Desi Magill, recently attended the Clonard House Garden event—an inspiring celebration of collaboration and growth. It was a fantastic opportunity to see first-hand how projects we’ve supported are beginning to flourish, transforming shared spaces into vibrant hubs for connection and wellbeing.
From planting vegetables to nurturing flowers, the garden is a testament to what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose. We wish everyone involved the very best of luck over the coming months and look forward to seeing the garden thrive.

Hands-On Support at St James Farm
Our commitment to community extends beyond ideas—it’s about rolling up our sleeves and getting involved. At St James Farm, our joinery team carried out essential repairs to strengthen and improve the durability of a roof, ensuring the space remains safe and functional.
In addition, the team designed, crafted, and installed trellises in preparation for upcoming planting. These small but meaningful contributions help support sustainable community spaces where people can gather, grow, and connect.

Brightening Spaces at Forthspring
We were delighted to provide two handcrafted planters for Forthspring, which will soon be filled with flowers and vegetables to brighten their environment throughout the spring and summer months.
This project highlights the positive impact of collaboration between our students and the community—working together to create something both practical and uplifting. Now, all that’s needed is a little sunshine to help everything bloom.
Supporting Those in Need: Our Christmas Appeal
Community support is especially important during the festive season. Our Workforce Christmas Appeal for Foodstock saw an incredible effort from our young people, staff, and suppliers, who came together to collect toys, food, and essential funds.
We are proud to support Foodstock, our nominated charity, in their ongoing mission to tackle poverty within our communities. The generosity shown throughout this appeal demonstrates the power of collective action and compassion.

A Festive Celebration at Clonard House
One of the highlights of the season was providing Christmas meals for the residents of Clonard House. Our students took the lead in planning, preparing, and serving a full festive dinner—showcasing not only their skills, but their teamwork, responsibility, and kindness.
The event was filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connection. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of community, especially during the holidays. We extend a heartfelt thank you to our Catering and Business Administration teams for making the day such a success.
